Graduate Fellowship

 

Learn Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and receive supervision from DBT experts at Santa Fe DBT, LLC.

SFDBT has been offering this two-year graduate fellowship for the past six years.

 

What to expect?

 

  • Training in a comprehensive treatment for severe, multi-problem, difficult-to-treat diagnoses (incl. personality disorders and pervasive emotion dysregulation using adherent DBT)

  • Full participation in providing individual therapy as well as skills class group therapy

  • Two hours of expert supervision, incl. supervisor’s weekly review of audio-taped sessions, provided by a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™ 

  • Ongoing continuing education, incl. CE’s

  • Assistance in learning the basics of private clinical practice

  • 10-12 hours per week, incl. two paid supervision hours

  • Competitive pay

Requirements:

 

  • Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents/green-card holders

  • Fluency in English

  • Master of Social Work Degree or Master of Arts in Counseling

  • At the start of the fellowship, applicant must be licensed in New Mexico (LMSW, LMHC)

  • Willing and able to make a two-year commitment

  • Willing and able to read required texts and articles, learn evidence-based methods, and adhere to evidence-based standards

  • Internet access

  • Cellphone with email and text capability

  • Strong interest in private clinical practice

  • Clinicians of color are strongly encouraged to apply
